I call these cookies 'festive' cookies because they remind me of celebratory period when people come together and a variety of food is served. The ingredients are everything you wish to find in a piece of cookies; nuts, chocolate chunks and dried fruit like sour cherries and apricots. They are soft and chewy and oh-soooo-delicious.
