Floral birthday cake

Another decorating style for Caramel chocolate fudge cake. This one was garnished with five apple blossom flowers, each one in different colours. Gorgeous cake for the birthday lady.

Note: Please bear with the distorted shade of this picture since my dear camera I normally used was not available at the time of shooting . I promise not to publish any low-quality photo, giving you 'sore eyes' again!

An order from a regular customer of mine. This is for Midsummer's Day celebration of a Swedish company held in the park on Sukhumvit Road. So cute and so so vivid to suit the occasion.

White chocolate ruffle cake

Above: Chocolate velvet cake with milk or dark chocolate cream filling and white chocolate frosting, exquisitely garnished with white chocolate curls.

What a romantic way to say 'Happy Birthday' and 'I love you' at the very same time by giving your beloved a HEART cake. This must be the most passionate cake I have ever baked so far. Also, it can be made in a classic round shape as shown in the first picture. The ivory colour cake is just so beautiful when pastel wordings are written on. White chocolate ruffles are very fragile and super cute when matched with the cake too.

*Please noted that varied shade of the two cakes is caused by different source of light in photo shoot.

Caramel chocolate fudge cake with almonds

Above: Three-layer chocolate cake with caramel and almond filling. All covered with dark chocolate ganache.

This menu hits it big during this past few weeks. Having ceaselessly received an order of Caramel chocolate fudge cake, I think this could happen because of word of mouth! When the customers place an order, they often refer to the party or the person make them get to know my bakery. From one party to another the reputation of fudgy gooey chocolate caramel cake is spread out wider and wider!!

Chocolate pudding

Above: Delicate chocolate pudding topped with crisp dark chocolate curls

Either adults or children fall head over heels for chocolate pudding whose texture is soft and delicate like velvet. It is generously topped with crisp chocolate curls contrasting to the texture of the pudding. Don't be surprised if you find yourself licking the lips or even reaching to the second cup after finishing one!

Sunny's Birthday cake

Above: Chocolate cake layered with chocolate mousse and fresh sliced strawberries and covered with chocolate ganache.

This is an order from my lovely customer in occasion of her friends' birthday. Yes, it is 'friends' with 's' because 5 persons are happened to have their birthday very close together. What a big celebration it would be :)

I supposed to have this picture posted few weeks ago but there are long lists of orders keeping me super duper busy from the beginning of songkran holiday up until now. My special menu of summer like Ripe mango and lime cake makes such a big hit!
Finally, I got myself a short break to resume another important task of updating my blog. This is a Strawberry chocolate cake which I firstly created for my brother, Sunny whom I name the cake after. He had a special request for his birthday cake which I took it as a good opportunity to search for a good recipe of it. From a journey to a towering pile of my baking books, I select good elements here and there. I combined more than three recipes to set it up. And I think my attempt really worth it. Sunny's birthday cake wows the guests with an over-the-moon experience of chocolate cake.
This simply pretty cake is velvet chocolate cake layered with chocolate mousse and fresh sliced strawberries. It is all covered with chocolate ganache which never fails to make any cake look luxuriously beautiful. Shiny lovely strawberries are placed on top to announce a key ingredient, at the same time, to make such a charming presentation of the cake!

Dark chocolate cheesecake

Above: Dark chocolate cheesecake with chopped hazelnut (Perugian style)

Intense taste of dark chocolate is one of the things I always surrender myself to. This chocolate cheesecake has bitter sweet flavour derived from premium grade chocolate imported from Italy. Better yet, the recipe originated from Perugia in central Italy as well. Hazelnuts are coarsely chopped and added just to make it practically perfect!

Blackforest cookies

Above: Dark chocolate cookies with dried bing cherries

When the word 'blackforest' is appeared every sweet tooth person can easily decode that the particular menu must consists of chocolate and cherry. Aside from prominent Blackforest cake we are all familiar with, this soft cookies is another wicked example. It made from dark semi sweet chocolate and dried bing cherries are generously added. One of my best-selling items and one of my favorite cookies also.

To-die-for brownie

Above: Fudgy chocolate brownie served warm with a scoop of ice-cream

I strongly recommend those who are in favor of brownie to try this. I always receive repeated orders of this fudgy brownie because once you tried you can't stop yourself from munching on it. It really is something to die for, my brother told me he can do anything in this world just to make me bake the brownie for him everyday! It is best served warm with a scoop of ice-cream of your choice (for me vanilla is the classic flavor and goes so good with chocolate.) This menu will come with serving suggestion where I will tell you the secret to how to reach the utmost deliciousness of brownie!!

Velvety chocolate mousse cake

Above: Chocolate mousse and sponge cake on hazelnut crunch crust

As you can see this cake consists of three parts; the first layer is chocolate mousse which is soft like velvet, the second is chocolate sponge cake sprinkled with Cointreau (orange flavor liquor), the bottom is hazelnut crunch crust that is crisp and full of toasty aroma of roast nuts. They go together oh-so-very-well. A fan of mousse cake knows that this cold cake must be refrigerated at all time. To contradict its type of being 'cold cake', it has been selling like
'hot cakes' since I had it on my menu.

Chequerboard cake

Above: Chocolate and vanilla butter cake with chocolate whipped cream

This cake requires somewhat more efforts to make than usual I admit but I do enjoy baking it very much. Every time I receive notes from my customers about the impressiveness of their guests (and the host also:))when they cut and found pretty black and white butter cake laying itself alternately, I feel my endeavor already worth it all. Moreover, it tastes just perfect with chocolate whipped cream applied on top and between each layer.

For-the-sake-of-chocolate cake

Above: Dark semi-sweet chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling, covered with chocolate ganache

The name says it all, this chocolate cake tastes so 'chocolatey' rich. It has four layers which are separated by vanilla cream filling, then covered with dark semi -sweet chocolate ganache. I took quite some times to make decision which pictures I should post because I baked countless pieces of this chocolate cake. A regular customer of mine is so nice, she always celebrates her family members' birthday with my cake and her choice must be For-the-sake-of-chocolate cake since everyone in her family is a chocoholic!!
It is gorgeous whether in square shape or round shape alike. Only I will recommend my customers who have long wording to choose the square one which provide more space to write :)
