Crème caramel

When I was a child caramel custard is a menu I never ordered whenever I saw it appeared among the list of dessert menu. The reason is my first experience of it is soooo disappointing; being served an out-of-the-pack custard instead of a homemade one. Since then I turned my back to this dessert as if it was an unforgivable criminal!

Time flew by and my distaste of it did fade away. On the other hand, my love of caramel seems to be ceaselessly increased. So I decided to give this caramel dessert a try with a huge anticipation of impressive outcome.

Voilà! A melt-in-your-mouth crème caramel. Though it causes the cost to soar, I insist to use vanilla pod here because an aroma of vanilla plays important role in this menu. I suggest all fans of caramel to try this since the alluring bittersweet taste may make you feel almost like intoxicated by the surreal deliciousness!!
